Beautiful Seville!
Beautiful Seville!

Did you know that 30% of Sift Science’s customer base is outside of the U.S.? Last week, we ventured to the beautiful and historic city of Seville, Spain for the MRC EU Congress. While no stranger to MRC Vegas, this was our first time attending its European counterpart, and we relished the opportunity to connect with fraud fighters on the other side of the Atlantic.

Here is a quick recap of things we did:

Booth time – We had great conversations with customers and other conference goers at our signature orange booth. As usual, we had Sift Scientists at the booth demo’ing our product and showcasing the strengths of our real-time machine learning and newly improved Console.

Fraud fighters of the world unite – A highlight of the conference was meeting customers who we usually only see through a computer screen. We love connecting with our customers in person, and were happy to meet new faces through them as well.

Spreading swag around the world – Fraud Fighter tote bags and t-shirts were quite the hit! It’s great to know that this stylish swag is now being sported across Europe.

Learning more – In between customer chats and plates of paella, we took time to attend informative sessions on topics like 3DSecure – something that is very important to our European base but not very prevalent in the US.

Thought leadership – Our CEO, Jason Tan, sat on a machine learning panel with other experts in the field to talk about how this cutting-edge technology is revolutionizing fraud detection.

It was so exciting to meet fraud fighters from around the globe, and to connect with our customers in person. We are adding more and more customers to our global network every day. We can’t wait to see where we go next!
